Share files and articles, discuss on-line, publish webpages

It is a space for you and others to communicate, share files and news articles, discuss in online forums, publish web pages and feel close to each other. Our community is called like our Comenius project and is administered by me, your group leader. It also provides information about the members and you can use it also for sending messages. It is a password-protected area, only we and our community members can access its content.

What will our community be used for?

	on-line meeting point
	discussing professional issues through community forum
	discussing professional issues through community chats in real time
	sending c-mails which can be sent also outside community
	publishing notes, materials, links useful for teachers
	learning how such learning environments function and can be used for school purposes too.

Login

To take part in a community, you need to first receive your login and a password. A community is restricted to members and you must login to participate. I will invite you to the community and you will get an e-mail with your username and a password to enter a community.

As the given passwords are difficult to remember, I advise you to change it, to what you will easily remember. (It’s wise to write down both and keep them in a safe place.)

Here I will guide you how you can change your password:

1.    Click on the link Community on our project webpage.

2.    A small window appears and there you fill in the username and the password you got by e-mail. After that the community window appears.

Click on the Members (under TOOLS) and then on Edit your profile on the right.

Here you fill in all the info about you and upload a small photo of you from your computer or diskette. Don’t forget to click a small square at the bottom where it asks you if your profile can be made public.

Click on Change your password.

IA small window appears and first type in your old password given by e-mail, then type in your new one with small letters only. Then type the new one once more to confirm it. Be careful to type it right.

Tick the small box and the new password will be sent to you via e-mail (useful)
If you forget your password click on Lost my password on the login page.

How to Upload your materials?

You can publish text pages wherever you want in the community, and if you want you can also delete it if you are not satisfied J. You just click on Add… on your left.

 I have also created an archive for each partner where you can upload documents too. Here, let’s say, are the archives for each country.

If you click your country you will get a new window.

On your right you can click on‘ Upload your file’ on your right.

You again get a new window where you define the topic and describe the content in short.

Here you click and upload the document or photo or image from your computer. Here you describe the content of it. And when done click also on Upload.
