E-twinning ideas for the last project year
In Focsani we talked about the plan for the next year activities.

We also made a draft proposal for the e-twinning activities:

·          Classes will exchange letters – each twinning classes decide on the number of them and the way they are sent to them. First classes present themselves and all the materials should be published in the classroom corners and school Comenius corners. The topic could be, art and trees, tradition, culture differences, holidays, but they will exchange e-mails on that and try to chat or videoconference to present what they think important to their peer students.
·         preparing presentations about their materials using PowerPoint or other tools for presentation and exchanging materials among partners
·
evaluating the project outcomes by expressing ideas about other new possibilities
·
learning how to send electronic Christmas cards to partners
·
exchanging some short e-mails in English and learn how to use this ICT tool with partners’ classes
·
presenting their feelings about the project through art – making posters about the three-year activities and exhibit them in the Comenius corners
·
chatting with their mates
·
contacting them via videoconference (where there is the necessary equipment) – the topic trees and artworks.
·
trying to learn some English words about trees and also words in the languages of the involved countries from the project webpage (voice and words)
·
learn at least one kids’ song from each country involved – videotape their singing
·
farewell with final mails, artworks for twin classes, representatives coming to Slovenia – We discussed the possibility to host students in Slovenia. Partners will discuss the topic at their schools and give their opinion on the topic later.
·
planning to involve also students with the last migration if possible

Portugal proposed also a special activity for the e-twinning:

ACTIVITY  - Who Tells a Story Gets a Point

OBJECTIVES:

·   Develop imagination, co-operation and teamwork
·
To plan, carry out and participate in an activity that is common to all the partner schools.
·
To give the opportunity for pupils in the partner schools to have closer relations, and for them to recognise they are all doing the same activity.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:

The partner schools in Portugal prepared an album of 14 blank pages. Two pages are reserved for each partner school. The first ones will be used by the partner schools that will use them to start writing their own story, which will be related to worries they have about topics such as the environment, and respect for human rights.

The album will be sent to the othe partner schools in the following order:: Spain, Italy, England, Sweden, Romania, Slovenia and then returned to Portugal. So, the story will start in Portugal and end in Slovenia, where it will be sent once again to Portugal where the pupils will give it a title.

Instructions for what to do will come with the album,a calendar and rules to work by. Wherever possible, these will be in electronic form (vídeo, audio, powerpoint, html…). Each school will add their own instructions and recommendations or hints, which will be returned to Portugal in the form of 7 CDROMs.

The language used will be English, the language of the project. Each school will organise the work in a way that will enable them to use all the techniques until there is no space left in the album. The schools will have to contribute towards the construction of their respective story according to their availability of time and space, good for hardworking people.

INTENDED RESULTS:

An illustrated narrative developed by partner schools in seven countries that will be presented at the close of the project in Slovenia.

Ze proposed to start it,

Bitte’s ideas:

1.  What if every child made a self portrait and we made a huge gallery with
them. What if we did an examination about names. Which name is the most
common in every country? What if we took digital images of the pupil´s
eyes and made a quiz to guess if they belonged to a boy or a girl?

2. body language – images – send to each other – she will give us a detailed
description.

Spanish partners proposed these for year three:

Merce’s ideas in Focsani:
