Navodila
za
opisovanje slike
Za opis
izberite likovno delo, ki ni pretežko. Kompozicija naj bo
preprosta, oblik naj bo malo, ne glede na to ali delate figuralno
ali nefiguralno likovno delo.
Če boste izbirali med nam že poznanimi avtorji, priporočam
naslednja dela:
1. Lowry:
(dela dobite na naslovu
http://www.lowry.info/ )
Two brothers,
The Contraption, Man on the Wall, The Cart,
2.
Baurjeve Trolle,
ki jih prav tako dobite v spletni galeriji J. Bauerja. (http://www.bpib.com/illustrat/bauer.htm
/
http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/bauer/menu.html )
Učitelj da učencem likovno delo v opazovanje.
Skupaj odkrivajo tematiko, vsebino slike in elemente kompozicije.
 |
Določi osnovno temo
likovnega dela in prostor, kjer se dogaja |
 |
Opiši prevladujoče
barve na sliki. |
 |
Poudari, od kod prihaja
svetloba. |
 |
Kateri liki nastopajo,
koliko jih je. |
Nato se loti podrobnega
opisa posameznih delov slike.
 |
Opisuj like od
leve proti desni, najprej tiste, ki stojijo spredaj, nato tiste,
ki so v ozadju. (Predmeti, ki so v ospredju, oblika, velikost,
barva in zaporedje od leve proti desni) |
 |
Opiši velikost in
obliko likov, |
 |
Določi barvo le-teh,
podrobne elemente, posebnosti (oblačila, obuvala, pokrivala, če
so osebe) |
 |
Morebitno gibanje ali
lego |
Nato se loti opisa ozadja
 |
Elementi ozadja |
 |
Lega in oblika |
 |
Barva |
 |
Svetloba |
 |
Morebitni poudarki in
posebnosti |
Piši v sedanjiku.

Instructions
for
describing an artwork
First choose an artwork, which is not too complex
and has a simple composition with only a few shapes included. It
doesn't matter you work with figurative or non-figurative artwork.
If you choose among the known authors Metka suggests this
artworks:
1. Lowry: (you
can find them on:
http://www.lowry.info/)
Two brothers, The Contraption, Man on the Wall
The Cart,
2.Baurjeve Trolle, you can find them in J.
Bauerj gallery:

http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/bauer/menu.html)
Teacher gives the chosen
artwork students to observe. Together they discuss its theme, what
it is about and the elements of the composition. Then they talk
about how such a description should be written if it is supposed
to be used for new creation according the description. They should
describe just what they see, the facts and real images and not
what they think or feel about them. We can’t draw the feelings and
opinions J. They are told that another group of pupils will try to
draw it according to their description. When the pupils observe
and try to express orally what they see in the artwork, we help
and guide them to be aware of more important and less important
things, those at the front and those at the back of the image.
We explain them that when describing the facts in
the images we should follow certain rules. We start:
 |
from bigger to smaller elements |
 |
from front to back |
 |
from light to dark |
 |
from left to right |
 |
from moving to static figures |
Steps in writing:
 |
we first define the main topic of the artwork,
place where it is located |
 |
we describe prevailing colours
|
 |
which elements or figures and how many of them
are represented in the artwork |
Then we start detailed description of
particular parts of the artwork
 |
we describe images or
figures from left to right, first those that are placed in
front, than those at the back. |
 |
We describe how big
they are and what is their shape |
 |
We write about the
colours of detailed elements (maybe clothing, shoes, hats…) |
 |
Eventual movements or
positions (walking, running, sitting…) |
Finally we start
describing the background of the artwork.
 |
Elements of the
background |
 |
Position of them |
 |
Colours |
 |
Light coming from… |
 |
Possible emphasis and
peculiarities |
At the end they read through the description again
and try to check if they have included all the important elements
and facts.
