Students work:
-
exchanging some short e-mails in English and learn how to use this ICT tool with partners’ classes
- presenting their feelings about the project through art – making posters about the three-year activities and exhibit them in the Comenius corner
- using poll for voting about the artworks on the project webpage
- chatting with their mates
- contacting them via videoconference (where there is the necessary equipment) – the topic trees and artworks.
-  trying to learn some English words about trees and also words in the languages of the involved countries from the project webpage
- learn at least one kids’ song from each country involved – videotape their singing

Teachers’ work:
-
preparing recording of parts of the tree in all the mother tongues
- publish the recordings on the web
- guiding students through activities, helping them to understand the project aims and the importance of it
- publishing the info about the activities and students works on the project site

At each partner school

March 2006

Project meeting – teachers’ exchange
- evaluating the activities and the project,
- reporting on good and bad points,
- discussing the programme for the final meeting in Slovenia
- collecting the artworks and other materials for the official opening of the exhibition in Slovenia
- and preparing the final reports with all the accompanying materials
- lesson observation at the host school
- planning the meeting of the principals in Slovenia
- working in classrooms
- getting to know the school system of the visited country
- hand on workshop on using ICT tools for teaching

Migration to Rome

May 2006

farewell with final mails, artworks for twin classes
- evaluating

Teachers’ work:
– organising the collection of the remaining artworks and sending them to the coordinating school – Slovenia
-          evaluating the project
-          disseminating it

June 2006

Project meeting – teachers’ exchange
- discussing the project , evaluating the outcomes, reporting on good and bad points
- visiting the host school and working with students in the classrooms
- getting to know the school system of the visited country
- contributing on the final exhibition and closure of the project
- Preparing final report of the project

Migration to Slovenia

June 2006

Principals’ meeting
-
evaluating the outcomes of the project for the school as a whole
- meeting the local authorities and discussing the Slovenian school system
- exchanging the information about the organisation and school policy in their schools
- participating at the closing event - exhibition
