STAFFANSTORP
,
1875, the
railroad arrives to the old village called Stanstorp, spelled
Stafnsthorp. The name of the railroadstation is modernized and
becomes Staffanstorp.

The municipal of Staffanstorp
is established when twelve parishes with a total of 5 800
inhabitants are merged.
The center of
Staffanstorp becomes an area consisting of one family houses built
in groups of identical houses.
The
residental areas are surrounded by parks and has high roadsafety
especially ment for the children. Daycarecenters and schools are
beeing built. The total population reaches 17 500.
