Rainbow |
|
Short
Summary |
The RAINBOW is a task-oriented web-site that was devised,
developed and tested through co-operation between 2 colleges,
The Friese Poort College, in Sneek, Netherlands and
Malgomajskolan, Vilhelmina,Sverige. Now Iceland Norway and
Germany work on it too.
It is a site which offers a large variety of subjects and tasks
to stimulate exchange of (peer-) information between Dutch and
Swedish students. The electronic communication platform used to
enable this communication is called First Class. |

Short description of how the Project has been
carried out
|
In the Rainbow we made different groups.
All the groups could use about 20 tasks.
In the groups we have formed groups of four students from
different countries, who can co-operate on the tasks. They work
in their personal workbooks, and only the four students + the
tutors can see in the workbook. The teacher can see that work
has been done, because then there will appear a red flag.
Finished tasks, can be put in the group-workbook, where
everybody can read them.
We have also made a notice board where all participating
students can write notes, and ask for reactions
There is a possibility for chat, so students can discuss there
work, but also their lives.
They can write letters to each other in the mailbox. |
