In co-operation with 85 schools all over Europe we collected weather-data of March 21st, 2003. We also gathered pictures of flowers that were in bloom that day.

To get students aware of the fact that the weather in Europe is not the same everywhere and this difference also effects nature (flowers)

To make students aware that the date of March 21st, as start of spring, doesn't mean the same all over Europe.

The coordinator spread the news all over Europe through several networks. Teachers could subscribe and received instructions how to participate. At March 21st and 22nd the information was collected and published on the project-site.

PROBLEMS/BARRIERS

The biggest problem was discipline: everybody had to send in the data that same day, together with a picture.
